Purpose: The purpose of the CERF program is to build an equitable and sustainable economy across California's diverse regions and foster long-term economic resilience in the overall transition to a carbon-neutral economy. Our participation in the CERF program is for economic development in Madera, Fresno, Tulare, and Kings County areas.

Current Activity: We're currently working with outreach partners to reach mountain communities for input on what communities need and want. Working with the HRTC on projects to use with the catalyst funds. The state rebranded CERF, and the new name is "California Jobs First". Executive Director, Erin Capuchino, is committed to the RFP committee to create the RFP and score applications and is continuing participation as a Regional Representative as the team makes plans for the project.
