Staff

Executive Director
Erin Capuchino
Erin Capuchino joined the Yosemite Sequoia Resource Conservation and Development Council (Y/S RC&DC) in February 2022 as an Outreach Coordinator and quickly ascended to the role of Director by May of the same year. A California native with deep roots in Tulare County, Erin has called Oakhurst, CA, home since moving in 2010 to be close to her in-laws. She recently earned a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Fresno Pacific University, a testament to her dedication and drive. Erin is passionate about making a positive impact in her community and beyond. She dedicates her time to various nonprofits, including the Wildland Firefighter Foundation and other local organizations, through her active involvement in fundraising efforts. Beyond her professional commitments at Y/S RC&DC, Erin coached the local High School Water Polo teams for seven years. Her commitment to community service is personal too, as her husband serves as a Forest Service firefighter, giving her a firsthand understanding of the challenges and importance of wildfire prevention and management. Outside of her professional and community engagements, Erin cherishes moments with her friends and family, where her love for good food and entertainment shines through. With three children keeping her busy, Erin embraces a multifaceted life driven by her commitment to service and leadership.

Project Manager
Natasha Twisselman
Natasha joined the Yosemite Sequoia Resource Conservation and Development Council as a Project Manager, bringing a strong background in education, data-informed planning, and community-focused leadership. A California native, she has spent most of her life in Mariposa and throughout Central California, where she and her family have long valued rural life and the responsibility of caring for California’s land and natural systems. She holds a master’s degree in Curriculum and Assessment and is passionate about using data, metrics, and thoughtful strategy to support effective decision-making and long-term project success. In addition to her professional experience, she has owned and operated a small business for over a decade, strengthening her skills in management, organization, and collaborative problem-solving. With a personal connection to wildfire resilience through her husband’s work as a firefighter, Natasha understands the importance of proactive partnerships and coordination across agencies, landowners, and communities—especially during California’s increasingly complex fire seasons. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two young daughters, exploring the region’s lakes, rivers, trails, and campgrounds. She also loves reading, paddle boarding, making homemade pasta and sourdough, and traveling to experience new landscapes and destinations.

Administrative Assistant
Alisa Vance
Alisa Vance joined Yosemite/Sequoia Resource Conservation & Development Council (Y/S RC&DC) in September 2025 as Administrative Assistant and Madera County Coordinator. She brings a unique blend of administrative leadership, financial management, and operational experience across the private and public sectors. Alisa’s background includes serving as a Manager and CFO for a small business, working as a Registered Nurse in emergency departments, eight years of service in the United States Marine Corps, and holding leadership roles as an HR Director and Safety Manager in the construction sector. This diverse professional experience informs her practical, detail-oriented approach to supporting complex projects and multi-partner initiatives. At Y/S RC&DC, Alisa supports organizational operations and leads county-level coordination in Madera County, strengthening outreach, logistics, and partner engagement across the region. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Santa Clara University and a degree in Nursing from the University of San Francisco.

Jessica Rowley
Jessica Rowley is a seasoned consultant specializing in grants and project development for nonprofit organizations and businesses. With over 15 years of experience, Jessica has successfully secured millions of dollars in funding through thoughtful program design and compelling grant proposals. Her expertise spans diverse sectors, including health, community development, conservation, education, and arts initiatives. Jessica is known for her ability to synthesize big-picture vision with meticulous detail. She brings a rare combination of strategic insight and analytical precision to every project—translating complex ideas into practical systems, building structures that support long-term success, and tailoring her approach to the unique needs and working styles of each client. As a natural connector and creative problem-solver, she excels in helping organizations clarify their goals, align their efforts, and secure the resources they need to grow and thrive. Through her consulting practice, Jessica partners closely with clients to craft strategic projects, navigate funding opportunities, and implement effective programs. Her deep understanding of the grant-writing process and commitment to impactful, community-driven solutions make her an invaluable resource to organizations seeking sustainable growth and positive change.

Film Maker & Social Media Contractor
Josh Levine
Josh Levine is the Principal and Creative Director of J. Matthews Creative, an award-winning film and digital media studio specializing in strategic communications for conservation, community, and nonprofit organizations. With more than 20 years of storytelling experience, Josh has produced over 500 impact films and documentaries, earning 15 Telly Awards, 3 Davey Awards, and multiple Best Director honors. Since 2014, Josh has partnered with conservation groups, public agencies, and community-based organizations throughout the Sierra Nevada and beyond, producing high-quality films, visual storytelling, and branded campaigns that elevate public awareness and strengthen partner engagement. His work spans wildfire resilience, natural resource management, climate adaptation, and community-driven initiatives, translating complex topics into accessible, compelling narratives for diverse audiences. Through his work with Y/S RC&DC and its partners, Josh supports outreach and education efforts by documenting regional projects and initiatives that connect applied science with real-world community impact. His creative leadership helps ensure that project outcomes are clearly communicated to local, regional, and national audiences through thoughtful, community-centered media.
